[AGOSTO 2013] ZMO Sociology of Islam and Muslim Societies
announces the opening of a number of three-year positions for postdoc

[Maggio 2013] Le Centre Coopération et Développement de l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) souhaite engager un(e) Chercheur / Chercheuse pour la phase d’entrée en matière du projet « Communauté Tunisienne Résidente en Suisse pour le développement » financé par la Direction du Développement et de la Coopération (DDC).
Le projet cherche à étudier de façon exhaustive la Communauté Tunisienne Résidente en Suisse (CTRS), afin de tirer parti de ses connaissances, de son capital social et de ses ressources financières et d’améliorer le dialogue entre la CTRS, la société civile et les institutions tunisiennes dans le but de renforcer le soutien de cette diaspora au développement socio-économique de la Tunisie. Dans un premier temps, une étude pilote cartographique de la CTRS sera menée pour identifier les caractéristiques, les profils sociodémographiques, les conditions de vie et les liens de cette diaspora avec la Tunisie. Les données seront récoltées par le biais d’une enquête en ligne et d’entretiens complémentaires.
Description du poste:
Il / elle aidera le responsable de projet dans l’exécution des recherches mentionnées et des autres activités liées à la mise en oeuvre de l’étude pilote cartographique, en particulier les tâches ci-dessous:
+ Conception de questionnaires et de stratégies d’échantillonnage
+ Distribution de questionnaires en ligne aux personnes identifiées
+ Conduite d’entretiens approfondis en Suisse
+ Analyses qualitatives et quantitatives et interprétation des données récoltées.
+ Rédaction d’un rapport incluant conclusions et recommandations
Profile recherché:
+ Formation en sciences sociales, sciences politiques, géographie humaine, anthropologie ou disciplines connexes
+ Bonne connaissance et expertise dans l’utilisation de méthodologies qualitatives et quantitatives en sciences sociales (surtout mise en oeuvre d’enquêtes et conduite d’entretiens qualitatifs)
+ Connaissance de logiciels et d’outils pour l’analyse de données des enquêtes
+ Expérience et/ou intérêt particulier dans le domaine des migrations internationales, la recherche ciblant les diasporas et les politiques publiques qui y sont liées
+ Capacité de travailler de manière indépendante, d’organiser et de rendre le travail selon des délais stricts.
+ De langue maternelle française (la connaissance de l’arabe littéral et/ou dialectal tunisien serait un atout)
Entrée en fonction: 1er juin 2013 (au plus tard)
Durée de l’engagement: contrat de durée limitée à une période de 4 mois (possibilité d’extension de 3 ans après cette phase initiale)
Taux d’activité: 60/80%
